Hi all,
"Lost" fans were whipped into a frenzy Friday, when a juicy 12-minute epilogue of what happens on The Island under Hurley's reign leaked online. Disney and ABC were quick to pull the video from YouTube — but, alas for them, not quick enough. The footage will be available on both the final season and full series Lost DVDs, out Tuesday August 24, 2010. But for the impatient, five spoilers to whet your appetite. Cool! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. On Hurley's orders, Ben shuts down Dharma stations around the world. 2. Why can't women give birth on the island? Blame the electromagnetic activity. 3. Room 23, where Karl was brainwashed? It was used by the Dharma Initiative as a way to get information on Jacob from the Hostiles. 4. The Hurley bird mystery, solved: It's a bird that has been genetically altered. It's a hy-bird! 5. Hurley and Ben spring Walt from the Santa Rosa Mental Institute because they have a job opportunity to discuss with him. Walt is special! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TV Guide Aug 6, 2010 08:39 PM Some of Lost's Final Mysteries, Solved http://www.tvguide.com/News/Losts-F...es-1021600.aspx |

Hi all,
Fans of Lost are about to get down and dirty when props from the drama go up for bidding in a California auction this weekend. Profiles in History’s Joe Maddalena is offering thousands of items from the TV show, and told USA Today that many of the items have come straight from the set and haven’t been touched. “You can still see the studio blood.” Maddalena revealed that fans from 32 countries are pre-bidding on things like John Locke’s knife and Hurley’s van. But that’s only the beginning. Other items include plane wreckage and seats, the old Apple computers from the Swan station, Virgin Mary statues, hatch doors, and a pilot script signed by series creators J.J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof. The memorabilia is currently secure in an airport hangar in Santa Monica, Calif., where the auction will take place. If you’re interested in bidding, or just perusing, go to profilesinhistory.com. The auction ends two days before the final season is released on DVD. Maddalena hopes to raise more than $1 million, with proceeds going to ABC Studios and various charities. Bidding for many items, like a Dharma jumpsuit worn by Josh Holloway's Sawyer (when he was disguised as Lafleur), starts at $200. Awesome! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TV Guide 2010-08-18 ‘Lost’ and found http://tvguide.ca/TVNews/Articles/1..._auction_DW.htm |

Hi all,
A script for the pilot of cult TV drama "Lost", signed by series creators J.J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof, has sold at auction for $18,000. The item was among the highlights to go under the hammer on the first day of auction house Profiles in History's Lost props and memorabilia sale in Santa Monica, California. The top sellers on the day were a computer used at fictional hideout the Swan station and a hatch door from the same station, which both went for $19,200. Other items that sold included a large section of wreckage from the show's doomed Oceanic Flight 815 aircraft, a ring worn by Dominic Monaghan's character Charlie and a collection of maps used by Mira Furlan's enigmatic Rousseau character. "Lost" stars Sterling Beaumon, who played Young Ben in five episodes, and Daniel Roebuck, who played Leslie Arzt in seven episodes, were part of the auction proceedings. Auction house spokesman Marc Kruscol tells WENN the big sale did not go as fast as expected due to competitive bidding for items from fans in 50 countries. Neil Hopkins, who played Liam Pace in the desert island drama, is expected to be part of Sunday, August 22's proceedings. Hi all,
Ever since Lost's May finale, fans have been clamoring for more answers about the island. They'll get a little info in a 12-minute epilogue, exclusive to "Lost: The Complete Collection" (available on DVD and Blu-ray August 24), that follows Hurley and Ben's time protecting the island—and welcomes back a long-lost familiar face. "Part of the Lost machinery is to bring back characters out of the deep, dark past in surprising ways," Michael Emerson (Ben) tells TV Guide Magazine. "I knew it would have an impact." But one mystery still has Emerson puzzled: "Whatever happened to Ben's childhood friend Annie?" he asks. "Things like that seemed like juicy avenues to explore, but we just didn't have the time."
