" I have always been a stickler for details however."
laughing...I am too! So when I saw the General being referred to as Colonel Braddock, that one got me too. Not the writers fault on this one though...CTV is airing 'Clean Hands" on Sunday Dec 6th, not 'Backwards Day" on Sat. Dec 5th. maybe check your own TV listings!! Happy to see they are keeping the Flashpoint stories going over the holiday season! |

I know that every production has its continuity problems and there are people out there who love to point out continuity mistakes etc. And I certainly understand being a stickler for details. I was just trying to explain why these unintended changes happen as a point of information. I too would prefer that details remain the same throughout a series lifetime.

I understood what you meant. My point was more precisely that in the internet age the changes made in various tv-shows are pointed out and then spread along. There's been tv-shows where siblings has just vanished into thin air not to exist any longer. Whenever I watch Gladiator or some other of my favourite movies but especially Gladiator, the moment where the emperor that has been smothered to death breathes is always a oh please kind of moment. If it's noticed when I'm watching and I'm not even pausing the dvd. Did noone on the film set notice? Now, that is just an example, every movie and every tv-show has mistakes, or goofs. Call it what you prefer. I am not the kind of person to note whether a person has a wedding band on, whether a gun is set for actually being usable or not. But errors in dialogue due to continuity slip ups, and that what was one thing is suddenly another is one of those things I react to, and that is without hanging on to every picture frame. Mark Ellis made some jokes over the name thing in his twitter-feed. |

I did see the indirect acknowledgement by Mark of the change. It was nice of him to acknowledge it since with most productions the subject of continuity mismatches is something never to be discussed. |

Then it is undeniably so that it will be the fans of the show, and the sticklers of detail that will notice continuity error and inform all others as to it ![]() |
